We have an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Buyer who will be responsible for both the strategic development and tactical boots on the ground execution of Industrial Buying strategy and supplier/customer development.
Job Summary: Join our Metal Exchange team in this fast-paced buying position, primarily focused on purchasing non-ferrous metals directed at markets and products that fit within one or more of our business units. As a Buyer, you will need to build and maintain strong relationships with our current and prospective trading partners. The Buyer must understand the dynamics of the market as well as costs associated with the transactions so that the profitability is well planned and executed. The position requires an understanding of various market pricing components and management of the associated risks.
A successful Buyer will be personable and capable of soliciting, developing, and growing relationships with our trading partners. The Buyer will also possess analytical skills to make decisions that are good for Metal Exchange and our trading partner. Negotiating skills that combine the characteristics of a good relationship, a professional and well-developed strategy, a sense of fairness, and a good understanding of our needs, are essential. Any commercial disputes that arise must be resolved in a timely and amicable manner, particularly in the scrap business where they periodically arise, requiring the aforementioned negotiation skills. The Senior Non-Ferrous RSI Trader will work in a fast-paced, environment, working closely with the VP of RSI; handling procurement, sales and processing functions. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential trading partners, deep market understanding, and effective cost management to optimize profitability. You must be well-versed in market pricing dynamics and skilled in hedging, risk and credit management. This position demands a personable individual capable of developing and nurturing relationships, analytical thinking, and expert negotiation skills. Comprehensive Benefits:

Compensation:
- Top drivers earn up to $80,000 per year
- Recent CPM increase and $2500.00 sign on bonus
- .02 CPM annual increase every year with positive review reaching the top CPM pay by end of 3rd year.
Performance Compensation:
-Mileage plus stop pay (loaded and empty miles paid the same on practical mileage from zip to zip)
-1 pick 1 drop loads 99% of the time
-A large percentage of freight is drop and hook
-Quarterly Safety bonus and additional $50.00 clean inspection bonus
-2020 Freightliner Cascadia trucks with APU's equipped with Prepass and EZ pass.

The Senior IT Business Systems Analyst, Extruded Products will be responsible to directly ensure proper and ongoing alignment between the goals and objectives of the Extruded Products business and the capabilities of IT systems used to operate and manage that business. This role will require a deep understanding of business processes and IT systems, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
